Post subject: e30 gas gauge problem fixed

Well, thanks to this forum I now know that my car has 2 gas tanks and 2 level sending units. So, I pulled the one on the driver's side and sure enough, the little wire that the float runs up and down on was broke. I took a single strand of wire and soldered it the broken wire and it now works perfect. Thanks again, I appreciate the help
