Post subject: DME issues (OBDII E36 M3)

Does anyone in AZ have DIS/INPA and an ADS interface?

I swapped a 98 M3 engine into a 96 318 and I need to copy/paste (sync) the rolling code from the EWS into the DME so they will talk and my car will start.

TRM will delete EWS from the DME for $100.00 if I can't find someone locally with the software and wire.

Also, I saw that there is a Conforti shark device to flash this DME. Does anyone have this?

Thanks!

What ti_kid said. If you have the EWS module and it matches the DME and key, you should be good. I'm making the assumption that you didn't.

I believe Conforti Shark is mated to the car. IE. One car use only.
