Had a great time the last two nights with NASA. We need more AZBMW members out there!

Here's the beast:

Here are links to two sessions. The first is my third session on Friday night and the second is my second session from Saturday night:

Still a lot to learn of the new car and make some adjustments to the car.

Enjoy.

The Z06 and R35 GTR were no match for my 230whp! HA!

There are tons of autos out there. It is always fun! No matter what car/transmission. There was a guy with an S10 pickup out this weekend!

This might seem like a stupid questions, but are there ever any convertibles out there? I think I've been to a NASA event and saw a vert Miata??? Are verts allowed?

Stock Miatas are not allowed, but your car would be because it has rollover protection.

Here is the link to the confirmation for you:

Looks like you had fun! azbmw should be represented pretty good in Inde in October, maybe we can even get old man McAra to come. Me and my buddy damien (who drove a black e30 in HPDE1/2 this weekend) are coming both days.

I've looked into this in the past and having a hard time finding it now, but for a beginner who needs to go through the training HPDE first, what is the cost for a weekend event? Just dues, not brakes, tires, etc. ??

Could happen...

If I come out it will be as tech support and a passenger.

Membership which is $40 per year and then the cost of the event which is $169.99 for one day and $269.99 for two days for HPDE1. You'll then move up to the next group which is a little cheaper the next event.

Car sounds awesome Ian! Glad I didn't try bringing the Miata, not knowing about the roll bar rule on it until now.

I gotta admit, the S-10 was almost as good as the RAV4 that was out last year. I never want to see another one of those up on 3 wheels, ever.

And damn, I can't wait for inde, so much work on the gti to get done tho.

Gotta work hard to play hard! I still have a few weekends worth of work on the M3 too.
