Congrats and a big ol' dump truck of props to Christian.

I feel this thread needs to be renamed "How Derek got her groove back"

Double agree 100%! I can't thank him enough, all the time, effort, quality, and everything else, can't say thanks enough!

Here you go Chris, are you happy now? Wink

It looks like I just busted out the yokes, but those are different tail lights altogether, and it was not an orange bulb, it was an orange lens built into the unit.

After

Luckily these are the same bulbs as the city lights and I happen to have two clear ones lying around.

After

So I'll see you driving in the HOV lane on the 101 with no passenger in the afternoons again?

Just a small update:

Got a stock air box put in (snorkel and all), along with aFe Pro Dry drop-in filter and Samco silicone intake boot.

Before

After

At first it felt like a lost a little bit of power, but definitely noticed the easier air flow of the boot. It just felt smoother accelerating, and numerous times already I was accidentally going faster than I thought I was, due to the increased throttle response. Later after a few errands the car was pulling hard again, noticeably more than right after the change. Not sure if it's still learning or what. Will have to get the adaption computer reset, it probably still thinks it's an M52, ha ha

This weekend hope to have the fan clutch removed and the 16" spal installed

You are running the M52 ECU with the S52 motor?

Was wondering because he said something about getting the adaptation values reset so it didn't think it was a m52...

Yeah I don't quite understand that either, I was just clarifying that it is the correct ecu.
