So my E34 is throwing a tantrum, she doesnt want to start (just cranks over, over, and over) like 1 minute later she decides to start. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem and if any of you could hint me twards a solution. Thanks!

The car was hoping you'd give up and leave the keys and title on the seat after 45 seconds.

Previous response should get you on the right track.

Any progress today? I would start by checking fuel too.

ive checked spark, and compression (all good) ive figured out that if i wait about a min with the key turned to the ACC position (just before cranking) it will start up within a second.

fuel filter and/or fuel pump. check pressure and if it continues to climb while the key is on and the pump has stopped running it probably means the filter is clogged. if it's slow to build pressure that means the pump is more than likely tired, is it making any funny noises?

+1.

I've also noticed a low battery will effect the fuel pump, as well.
