Post subject: E32 input

Well my dad has decided to keep busy for the near future by picking up an E32, it's a 1990 735il 3.5 I6 engine. Has been sitting for over a year at its previous owner. I told him to start by changing the oil (engine, tranny, and brake, differential).

What else should be looked at to make the car safer on the road, since it has been sitting for a while?

Anything rubber is worth looking at. like mentioned - hoses are key. Beyond that, suspension components, bushings, check the engine mounts and tranny mounts.

The car will probably be easy to get run. But to get it to feel solid and new is going to take some work.

Engine, tranny fluid was done over the weekend. Next on the list is the tires, currently sitting on 225/60/15, my dad wants to put 225/50/15 is that profile doable? Thanks for the tips and info guys.

Of the below 2 tires, which one would you guys consider a better choice?
