Post subject: Concourse at the Fountain

Concourse at the Fountain. Next Saturday the 13 of February.

9am to 2pm. at Fountain Hills. Right on the grass at the fountain park. Free admission with all the major clubs attending. Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.

Copied from the azducati club website.

I am excited to announce the The third annual Concours in the Hills auto show is scheduled for Saturday February 13, 2016 at Fountain Park in Fountain Hills, Arizona, with a hopefully unnecessary rain date of February 14. We will set up a group meeting area closer to the time of the event so we can all ride in together.

To be part of the action you must sign up using this link The inaugural 2014 Concours in the Hills attracted 213 cars, 8 Ducati's, a couple of thousand spectators, just four sponsors and raised $25,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. The second, in 2015 had 444 cars, 40 Ducati's, about 10,000 spectators, 46 sponsors and raised well over $60,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. Vehicle entries are a minimum donation of $50. Spectator admission and parking is free.

Concours in the Hills is not a formal “white glove” event, but rather a casual and fun gathering of automobile enthusiasts in one of the most spectacular locations in the Phoenix area, on the green grass around the 560-foot fountain, one of the world’s tallest.

The Concours showcases a very diverse range of ultra-high performance, luxury, and classic vehicles from both imported and domestic manufacturers. These range from million dollar, 200MPH plus cars such as Bugatti Veyron, La Ferrari and Enzo, to muscle cars, sports cars and pre-war classics.

The show will be opened and awards presented by Bob Bondurant and Arie Luyendyk. Awards will be given for Best Import, Best Domestic, Best of Show, Best Ducati and for any club entering more than ten vehicles of any one brand. Voting is done by the exhibitors themselves.

The concours is supported by the leading car clubs of Arizona representing Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, Jaguar, Lotus, Mercedes-Benz, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Corvette, Viper, Ford GT, DeTomaso, DeLorean, and others.”

Automobile owners and sponsors who are interested in participating at the 2016 Concours in the Hills can contact event organizer Peter Volny at:
