So im trying to sell this car and fix it at the same time. Kinda stupid I know but I would like to get it running correctly so I can sell it for more $.. or keep it.

I bought the car thinking all it needed was the afm. Changed that and it help out a lot and made the check engine light go off. The car ran well but would not rev over about 3500rpm and after warming up would not want to run at all. would barely stay running in drive.

Car had a tiny aftermarket muffler welded on that was way too small. Smaller than a factory eta muffler even, with only 1 pipe in and 1 pipe out. I cut it off and the car now will rev up to about 5500 rpm and is totally drivable until it warms up. Then it experiences the same problems. It just runs like shit and starts backfiring.

so my question is, why dose the car run well when its cold and not when its warm? Once it warms up and starts running shitty it will sometimes back fire out of the intake. Ive been told it needs a new injector. ive also been told it has a bad intake valve. The car obviously had too much back pressure because cutting off that muffler instantly helped. Im just confused. any help would be great thanks y'all
